The Ministry of Health has released new physical activity guidelines for under-5s as part of the Eating and Activity Guidelines series. The Ministry worked with Sport NZ and the Ministry of Education to develop the guidelines.

Alongside this, the Government’s Big Change Starts Small campaign is encouraging people to make small changes to ensure long-term and positive impacts on their children’s health and wellbeing. Watch a video featuring Sports Minister Jonathan Coleman.
