We are partnering with The Kitchen Project - an activation happening at the 'Unlock' Henderson location of the Panuku Development Auckland. The Kitchen Project is an exciting business development incubator to help food entrepreneurs through training and use of a commercial kitchen.

The Project, partly funded by Auckland Tourism Events and Economic Development (ATEED) supports local food entrepreneurs to turn their food ideas into reality with a focus on healthy food and culture. We are connecting local people with the training to be part of a future where people living and working in Henderson will have access to healthier food options.

We were also part of transforming the open space where The Kitchen Project is taking place. By bringing together leadership from local gardeners and My Backyard Garden Project champions, the nearby carpark has been turned into thriving raised vegetable gardens utilised by the surrounding businesses.

Applications are open for people to be part of the training and mentoring, visit https://www.thekitchenproject.co.nz/ to apply today.
